    TTIP: bringing together the Old and New World

    Since June 2013, negotiators from the EU and the US have been trying to forge a comprehensive trade agreement, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership accord (TTIP), which would create a massive free-trade zone. It would create a free trade area representing nearly 50% of global economic output, although only 11.8% of the world’s population would benefit directly.
