BS 7671:2018 + A2:2022 Requirements for Electrical Installations. IET Wiring Regulations

The new BS 7671 Amendment 2 includes key changes that cover both general safety of electrical installations, as well as advanced fire safety requirements to reflect the latest thinking in industry safety best practices.

BS 8536:2022 Design, manufacture and construction for operability

BS 8536:2022 is the newly revised British Standard on how to improve built asset operability. This standard aims to work by strengthening industry practices and procedures, such as promoting the early involvement of the operator, operations team or asset/facility manager. Improve the focus of a project team on the performance of the asset/facility with the guidance of BS 8536:2022.

International medical device symbols standard

Medical device manufacturers and others in the supply chain must provide specific information that’s essential to the safe and proper use of the medical device.

BS EN ISO 15223-1:2021 Medical devices. Symbols to be used with medical device labels, labelling and information to be supplied.

PART 1. General requirements list symbols with a specific meaning that can be used instead of text to convey the necessary information. Its use can save significant costs and labelling space, and prevent the need for costly translations or labelling changes. As the symbols are recognized internationally, a single symbol should be accepted in all regions.
