    Copyright legislation may harm UK book publishing industry

    A new copyright law in the UK has been criticised for its potential to harm the book publishing and design sectors, Dezeen magazine claims. According to an open letter penned by an author, publisher and editor at London design office Laurence King, the new law will "wipe out" design book publishing and could harm design education.

    Forensic Science Regulator highlights poor standards compliance

    A case review is being undertaken into the quality of forensic science reports provided to the courts relating to specific cases, the Police Oracle reports. A number of rape cases are being studied regarding how exhibits were handled and whether poor practice was a systemic issue in such cases, from initial crime scene investigation to the final court process.

    Press Regulation Panel turns one
